Me 2

A photographer in SD&G counties.

If you are looking for someone to capture those moments when words are not enough…

When you look at a photo it should be more than just be a snap in time, it should be a piece of art. One that truly shows the emotion of the moment, the essence of who you are. You. Your personality.

That is what I look to capture.

A bit about me, the person on the other side of the camera…

I am an Army wife, married to my best friend, and the love of my life. We have been together for more than 21 years. I am also Mum to a fantastic young man who continually makes me proud. Our military family also includes two crazy Boston Terriers. We have recently moved “home” and are learning all about country living on our tiny plot of country heaven surrounded by farmer’s fields and  bordered by hedgerows just outside a quaint little village. You can follow our adventures in country living on the blog.

If you ask, you will find out photography and sketching and a love of art have been apart of who I am for the majority of my life. I have a few other obsessions which include Books, Britcoms and British tv in general, History, and Genealogy, just to name a few. If it were not for Pinterest my house would be over run by magazine clippings of interesting articles and recipes. I think the best Sunday supper is roast beef and Yorkshire pudding. Followed by any dessert made with lemons or lemon curd, or one made with fine imported chocolate. If you are looking for ideas on anything from food to home décor to art and graphic art you can also follow us on Pinterest.

I adore a good cup of tea, and any excuse to pull on my wellies and roam around the countryside with camera in hand. If I could choose any dream location in the world to live, other than our tiny bit of paradise we are currently living in, I would have to say, in a heart beat I would choose England. Close to the Scottish border. They say those with Scots in their blood have a strange tie to Scotland, and a love of all things Scottish that remains through the generations. I must say they are not wrong.
